About the conference
We invite you to participate in the annual conference of the Lithuanian Optometric Association "OPTOMETRIST PRACTICE UPDATES 2023", to mark World Optometry Day. The conference will be held in a contact mode on Friday 24 March 2023 at the Alfa Hall of the Conference Centre of the Radisson Hotel Kaunas, K. Donelaičio st. 27, Kaunas.
As every year, the programme is full of relevant topics for optometrists, ophthalmologists and general nurses: innovative technologies in optometry, assessment of autokeratorefractometry, binocular vision functions, the effects of COVID-19 on vision, laser vision correction, news from the Lithuanian Audiosensory Library for the visually impaired and many others. The event will also include the annual general meeting of the Lithuanian Optometric Association and an exhibition of sponsoring companies.
The organiser of the conference is the Lithuanian Optometric Association.
All participants will receive an 8-hour professional development certificate. The conference is registered in the SCC METAS system and is intended for optometrists, ophthalmologists and general nurses.
