Call for papers

Dear colleagues! As every year, the Board of the Lithuanian Optometric Association is starting to prepare for our annual conference in Kaunas on 24 March 2023, which will be dedicated to World Optometry Day. I invite you, dear colleagues, not only to participate in the conference, but also to join the ranks of the speakers by preparing a relevant presentation for the conference participants. Do you have interesting, challenging practical cases that you can review and present to your colleagues? Maybe you have an area of interest in optometry where you have relevant, innovative material or experience to share with colleagues? Can you prepare scientific literature reviews on topics of interest to optometrists? Do you have other interesting ideas that you could "put together" in a scientific-practical conference presentation? I invite you to think about it and to let the Association's Board know of your intention by email: optometrininkuasociacija@gmail.comwith the title, summary and duration of the report. The Board will evaluate all proposals received and their relevance to the optometric audience. I would also like to remind you that the preparation and presentation of a scientific paper at the conference will entitle the author or group of authors to a 20-hour refresher certificate. The Board of the Association looks forward to receiving your suggestions and ideas for presentations before Sat. 18 December.
